In light of the evolving pandemic and strong suggestions by public health officials & California Dental Association, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our practice from 03/23/2020 to 04/13/2020 or until further notice.
Furthermore, severe shortage of N95 masks (one of the most critical protective devices for any healthcare worker) has made this situation worst to perform any dental treatment safely without risking everyone’s health. Sadly, like many other dental practices, we have also exhausted our all attempts to get enough supply of N95 masks into our practice.
Please call 911 for life threatening emergency. If you are a patient with an emergency condition, you are strongly advised to seek treatment at the hospital or another dental practice where N95 Masks plus other personal protective equipment (PPE) are available to provide safe dental treatment. If you are a patient of our record and have “a true dental emergency” please call us at (209) 543 0555 and please follow the prompts. With limited resources Dr. Sojitra has, he would try his best to take care of your dental emergency. We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused you, truly we are!
If you have an appointment scheduled with us during 03/23/2020 to 04/13/2020, our office will make sincere attempts to notify you regarding this change of schedule and we will cancel your appointment. Your oral health is our top priority and we will contact you to reschedule your cancelled appointment as soon as new guidelines permit us to do so safely.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation as it evolves and the guidance from the county, state, the CDC and the California Dental Association. On 04/14/2020 we will determine when it will be appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours. Please visit www.dentistsalida.com and please follow us on Facebook for our new updates regarding this emergency and any schedule changes. https://www.facebook.com/Smileworlddental
Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind.
We thank you for your patience during this challenging time and wish all of you continued health. Everyone please be safe. Let’s pray for all of us. God bless all of us!
With Best Regards,
Smileworld Dental and Team
